Black Company/UA Alliance Rules

1. Treat all guild members and Friendly Alliances with respect this means no belittling of them in anyway including telling them they are stupid for the way they play its their game and we all play to have fun, if you are having a disagreement with another member please talk it out in whispers if you cannot resolve it this way please ask A VC or Officer to moderate it for you as we are a team and there is no I in Team!

2. Shit talking in Global please keep it to an acceptable level, we all enjoy a good rivalry but please don't go over board if you would not say it in person don’t say it here.

3. Attacking it is not acceptable to attack any alliances that are 1-30 ranked unless otherwise noted ( The Cure is off limts for now) and this means wilds to.

4. No posting of your own or another members cords in Global or alliance chat please use whispers or the in game mail system, keeping your cords hidden is key when the alliance is in a War and as most Alliances utilize Spying to collect cords you never know who is watching.

5. Always be ready to help your Alliance and Alliance mates, this can consist of advice if you know something they are asking about share! or backing them up in the case of an attack and repping for your Alliance ( another wards if you see another player looking for a Alliance or complaining about there's recommend ours as we all gain from having a higher ranked alliance)

6. HAVE FUN! Its a Game we all play to have fun and enjoy our time!

7.There have been a lot of annoyance/griefing attacks on people (aka 250 1 scout attacks on players for no reason), Black Company Doe's not tolerate this type of play by any members and there is only two limited exceptions to this rule.

A. If it is a Target we are set to Hostile to.

B. If the target player has done the same to you and you better be able to prove it and if this is true then get the whole alliance in on it.
The only people who may give you the go ahead to do this type of action for reasons other than the two listed are Ivan2222,Sparta6969 and myself thats it.

Just because we are the number three ranked alliance there is no reason for any one member the right to act like an ignorant thug, Black Company is not a hugger alliance I have said this many times but we are also not bully's we are a team and one team members actions reflect on us all good or bad.
It is up to us as a top 5 Alliance to set the bar for others to follow and acting like Bully's and thugs is by no means anywhere in line with the Leadership Teams vision for Black Company.
If any member from here on is caught breaking this rule in anyway other than the two listed exceptions you will be booted from the alliance period we are a team and those of you who have been doing these types of action need to act like part of a team not a rogue.

Third City Advice from Everyone's Favorite Lamp Resident Genie1108

So since everyone is getting their armies built it's time to get your third city deed.

*******What to know*********

1. You do not have to capture the wild to get a crest. Only attack and win.

2. Crests drop from Lv5+ wilds, and that includes Plains.

3. You can continue hitting a wild you've already gotten a crest from; it will keep giving them.

4. Certain Crests will only drop from high level wilds.

5. The higher the level the wild, the more frequent crests will drop.

6. Clearing the traps is still EXTREMELY effective.

Hopefully these notes will dispel a lot of the rumors and superstitions about farming wilds. I hit the same 16 Lv8 and Lv9 wilds (including plains) within 10 spaces from my city each hour and got all the crests I needed for my 4th city.

********Where to find Crests********

Bor's - Dropped from Lv5-Lv10
Ector's - Dropped from L5-Lv10
Kay's - Dropped from Lv5-Lv10
Bedivere - Dropped from Lv8-Lv10
Gawain's - Dropped from Lv9-Lv10

******What to send to Wilds*******

Time the waves so Wave 2 hits within 30 secs after Wave 1. This may require that you send Wave 2, first, in some instances.

-Lv5-
Requirements: Lv5+ Fletching
Wave 1: 50 Militiamen
Wave 2: 2,200 Archers
Losses: 50 MM

-Lv6-
Requirements: Lv6+ Fletching
Wave 1: 100 Militiamen
Wave 2: 4,200 Archers
Losses: 100 MM

-Lv7-
Requirements: Lv8+ Fletching
Wave 1: 150 Militiamen
Wave 2: 6,000 Archers
Losses: 150 MM

-Lv8-
Requirements: Lv9+ Fletching
Wave 1: 300 Militiamen
Wave 2: 10,000 Archers, 800 Ballistae
Losses: 300 MM, 1 Archer

-Lv9-
Requirements: Lv10 Fletching
Wave 1: 600 Militiamen
Wave 2: 25,000 Archers, 2,500 Ballistae
Losses: 600 MM, 1 Archer

Those are what it takes to efficiently farm wilds for crests. There are many combinations of troops that will allow you to win against the wild, but those outlined, above, are the least amount of troops required to take the least amount of losses.

Info for all you new people (repost for the New members)

First City Build Plan, Note you want to get your second city as soon as you can also.
Inside City.
11 cottages, 8 barracks,Rally Point,Watch tower,Knights Hall,Embassy, tavern,Store House,Market,Black Smith,Work Shop, Alchy lab,Relief Hut and a Stable all to Lvl 9 I myself build them evenly so they are all the same LvLs as I am building Also dont forget to Build up your Castle and Wall.
Outside City.
Fields:
8 Sawmills
8 Mines
3 Quarry's
Rest of spots farms
***Keep in mind your Store House,Watch Tower and Embassy are very important, Your store house should be = in lvl to the amount of total resources you produce every day each Lvl of your store house protects 100k of each resource from being taken by other players Aka lvl 2 store house protects 200k of each resource, Watch tower needs to be Lvl 5 or 6 for those under 100k might and should be higher if can be anyone above 100k might it needs to be 9, Embassy needs to be atleast Lvl 5 once you get past 50k might and the sooner its lvl 9 the better***

*** Second City****
Dont build a Market or tavern build 2 more barracks in place of these otherwise build all the rest the same as first.

***Advanced Player note***
Once you get a feel for the game drop two of your Cottages and your Tavern and also make these Barracks so your main city would have 9 Cottages and 11 Barracks and your second city would have 9 Cottages and 13 Barracks, Just insure to set your Tax Rate to 0% and make sure you increase gold atleast once a day.

***Food and troop upkeep***
You Need Food and you troops eat it and this is called upkeep if you see yourself going into negitive food production you will need to get some wilds and insure you hvae your farms built as high as possible, To take wilds just take a look at the Wiki link at the bottom of this post click the wilderness tab and mid page tells you what you need for each lvl wild and the RIGHT WAY TO ATTACK IT!

How to get a lot of gold FAST!

Step 1. Click on your castle.
Step 2. Click Increase Gold (about mid center of screen)
Step 3. Click the submit button then the ok button (sometimes this hangs up just try it again until it gos)
step 4. Repeat these steps every 15mins until your peoples happiness is under 20, you can do this agian in 8hrs also make sure to do this in every city you have.

How to get a second city deed.

You need 10 friends that play the game, just ask us in alliance chatt to add most people will!
Then you need to take over a Lvl 1 or Lvl 2 plain you will need ethier 100 Supply troops/100 Militiaman or 200 archers to do this, if its a lvl 2 better send atleast 100 archers with they suppy and militia if thats what you send, Archers are the best.

Knights these are important to have!

You need to have a Knights hall built in order to appoint them once you do have a hall click it and click the appoint box for 6 knights, after this click the My Knights tab and you will see the option to assign the knights the skill points they have and assign them a role.

Assign Skill Tab (this is what use's your Knights skill points)
Hit the tab on your first Knight Listed Hit the + button under Politics to assign all points he has there click save.
Hit the tab on your Second Knight Assign all his points to the Combat Tab.
Hit the Tab on your Third Knight Assign all his/her Points to the Intelligence Tab.
Hit the Tab on your Forth Knight Assign all His/Her Points to the Resourcefulness Tab.
Assign your points to the combat tab on your 5th and 6th knight these are your attacking knights.
Your Knights hall generates skill points for your knights everyday so check back every day and assign them to the same spots you have before on each knight.

Assign roles pretty much the same as above.
First Knight Assign as your Foreman
Second Knight Assign as your Marshal
Third Knight Assign as your Alchemystic
Forth Knight Assign as your Steward
5th and 6th have no Assigned roles as they are your attacking Knights.

War Guide

****** War Advice and Tactics ******
If you are being attacked dont panic!

1) come on Alliance chat say your cords and paste in the watch tower report so that we know what to send to reinforce you! ensure that your watch tower is lvl 7 or 8 to give us enough warning to get there, Embassy needs to be atleast lvl 6 to take the troops we are sending in the higher lvl the better and store house needs to be around 7 or higher also to protect your stuff.

2) Dont Leave your troops on Defend when you are not on! resources are easy to replace and hide, troops are not easy to replace they take time to build you cant help the guild if you have your troops defending when you are off line and lose them!

3) How to Hide you goodys this is really simple que up your builds for your off line time then go to your barracks and que up as many troops as you can ( mind you should make sure this is a second que of troops after one long enough to be building during your offline time)

When you come back on cancel the second troop build and you get all your resources back! Food To feed your Armys! War targets normally give you enough food but if they dont just tag a couple barb camps for food make sure you have enough to last past your planned offline time! Attacking! Troops In order of what works best for main attacks! Heavy Calvery - Think of these as the tanks of KoC they Crush but they have a very high food Upkeep and Long Build times! Archers - best bang for your buck might and food upkeep wise ( most koC player build these because of that reason) weaker in attacks then HC but second best unit to use.

1) Dont attack War Targets Blind, first whisper them to see if they are on smart Targets get reinforced and eat your troops! You whisper by putting a forward slash infront of the targets name aka /fadetooblack <- would whisper to me,

Once you have established they are off line SCOUT them before you attack so that you know what they have.

2) Never attack a target alone pick an attack buddy and both of you bust up the target, this will spread the might loss you will take from busting up a player across two people verse one, Anotherwards leaving you troops to Reinforce with and Attack with! The only time you should be attacking alone is if you already have broken up the target or have it by 2-3 X might.

3) Take the Time to break the Defense of the target thios pays off in way less cost in might loss do to loseing troops, D busting guide below.

4) How to find targets click the leader board symbol in the lower middle of the screen type in the alliance name that we are attacking look though the list of players for targets with cords near you!

Say you have a Defense to take out with the following:
100 traps/100caltrops/100 wallmounted crossbows/100 spikes

first wave send in 100 milita to take out the traps and yes u will lose those Traps require an equal number of militia to number of traps.

sec wave:200 milita to take out the caltrops and yes u will lose those too Caltrops require 2 to 1 to take them out.

third wave 10 too 1 with archers for the bows. So 10,000 archers to take out the bows and u will lose about 8k archers.

fourth wave if u want to send in wagons to get a bigger loot at once send in 2 too 1 with cav. So 200 cav to take out the spikes. If no wagons jus send in the sup troops they walk right by spikes. Also do not worry about trebuchets because they only hit rams and catapolts. Also get you're poision edge, healing and metal alloys up because it helps alot.
